Well, well, well... Here I am: a videogame translator. A wish come true!
Besides videogames, I am also qualified to certify documents as a sworn translator and I have some experience with other type of texts but my passion will always be this. I've always been into videogames (huge fan of Zelda and RPGs at first and then everyting that comes to my hands) and computers and technologies.
I'm one of those computer geeks who knows the difference between HTML and HTML5, and the basics (for now) of programming so localization seems like the natural choice for me. However, I'm also interested in literature, arts and cinema -that's why I studied a MD in Audiovisual Translation, Subtitling, Dubbing and Localization, and as many courses on the subjects as I can attend).
As a translator, I also love languages. In fact, I like English so much that I moved to the beautiful Ireland to hear it every single day and speak it freely without sounding crazy. I can pretty much expect to be in France in a couple of years. Or Italy, or Japan, or Poland...
